Default exhaust pipes loosened up

I have pacesetter LT's and ORY. I got under the truck today found that all of the pipes are loose. The clamps are tight, but it seems like the inner pipe shrunk or something.

Looks like I'm getting some welding done. Which brings me to a question. Is there anything I should have the shop change while they're fixing my exhaust? I have full length LT's, ORY, no cats, and a single flowmaster. I was thinking x-pipe and dual mufflers. Any ideas?

I wouldn't. I'd go to all v-band

I am using v-bands at my header collectors and have had zero issues.

ball joints are cheaper. They are what are used on OEM, so they work great. V bands work great too.

matter of opinion. The problem with ball joints is that they're quite a bit larger than v-band setups. I know with my truck there are literally millimeters of clearance so my ypipe doesn't hang below the frame.

I always use the stainless band clamps on any slip fit connections...never an issue with a pipe loosening for me.

I've used the V-band clamps and it wasn't the right application for me.
