I may just do this. Need to spend a few minutes digging around under the truck to see where I can fit two 35" tubes. My drone is really bad around 1500-1600 RPM. I would love to get rid of it.

I just turn the radio up to about 15 or 20, and the two 10s seem to cancel that out pretty well... or cover it up... whatever. I can't hear it though.

I have gutted cats and Mag mufflers on my true duals...drone is really bad, and its really loud when I stomp on it! Sounds like open pipes or an old ChrisCraft...

After I gutted the cats on my '99 rc 5.3 w/ si/so 5x12x18 magnaflow the drone was terrible. Took a trip to Omaha the next day it was unbearable between 1800-2200 rpm. Ended up wearing ear plugs on my trip. Once I got back I ended up recutting the hollowed cats and welding a pipe that ran through the cat shell. It reduced the drone considerably!

Soon their after I installed a set of catless LT's w/ a si/so 5x12x22 magnaflow while I was under there, work end result was a quiet drone less exhaust.

Good Luck!

I think those were the right dimensions of the mufflers.

Here's someone's setup: http://img184.imageshack.us/i/resonatoreg7.jpg/

I dont know if i posted this a while ago, but there was another forum that was going over this topic about resonance or drone. http://forums.corral.net/forums/show...ight=resonance You can read about what they tried and what did or did not work before you try anything yourself. Hope you can find some info to help.
