Default Exhaust choices

ok so next couple weeks Im gonna order some LTs and all. Gonna talk to a muffler shop tomorrow about prices to make my exhaust piping. So what should I do?
1- 3in true duals? (could I do them both straight off each header or would they have to route the same avenue as if it were a y-pipe?)
2- 3in y-pipe into a 4in pipe?
3- 3in y-pipe into a 3in pipe?

either way it looks like Im gonna need a muffler now so Im open to suggestions. I was thinking maybe a magnaflow or flowmaster race series. But maybe a glass pack? Other than being loud I want some suggestions thanks guys

I would do the third option. Muffler choice would be either the magnaflow, or IMCO.

i think they are straying away from the true duals because of your displacement, true 3" duals would be overkill 2.5" would be pushing it. i think the recomended for our motors without any FI is 2.25"-2.5"

wow, that seems weak I hate everyone pissing on our "small motors", but anyway, I do plan on doing heads for compression after my cam so I donno, the 3in y into 3in pipe with somethin like a small round magnaflow or maybe a glasspack would be good?
