exhaust change didnt like the feel

Default exhaust change didnt like the feel

i had a flowmaster single in dual out and changed it to a borla single in dual out, but my truck feels weaker. has this happend to any1?

Well, did you get a full cat-back or did you just put the muff on the stock exhaust? Is it an XR1 or ProXS muffler? I had Flows beforehand, but when I put my Borla muff on I noticed a hell of a difference in low end.

im running dual pro-xs's .. what prolly happend is that the flowmaster had a lot more backpressure , and the borla flows alot better, so your losing some low-end torque. It should feel like it pulls harder during the midrange powerband.

You might have lost some low end. How does your high end fell.

I'm with these guys. I've always thought flows felt better for a low end kick in the pants and the borla should give you more in the mid to high end. What engine are we talking here?

i have a 5.3, do u guys think my cpu just has to adjust to the higher flow?
and also lately i havent gotton on the thottle but i will later to see if my cpu has learned it

My buddy had the same problem with borla, so he drove around for a week. By the end of the week the borla got louder and pulled alot harder then the flows.

hey guys, i did a few runs out on the street and now it feels better, from 30 ill floor it from drive and the tires will squeel up until it shifts to 2 and when 2nd kicks in it chirps the tires again, it feels MUCH better now

also with my flow if squeeled em from 30 sometimes now it does it everytime
