Default Everyone with stall, run a "Yank"?

Well, I called PI and their converter is so damn small I won't be able to tow anything so...

does pretty much everyone run a Yank converter in their trucks?

I don't plan on pulling a 5th wheel but can I pull a 18' pontoon boat? I am thinking on buying one this summer so...

Anyone have any problems with their Yank?

Thanks

Parish, why did you go with the 3000 instead of the 3200 one?

I am prolly going to go with the 3200 unless I can get a higher STR in the 3000.

seems like they list the towing limit on the 3200 at 4000lbs and that is exactly what i am towing, i didn't really want to push it since i am right at the limit of the 3200.

also i think i am making ALOT of torque at a prety low rpm, everything i have is geared toward good mid and low end, whipple, stock cam, 6.0.

Allrighty, looks like I will go with that 3000 then. Hopefully I can get a bit more STR from it too.

I decided I am gonna go with: LS1 Edit first, converter w/shift kit, install my 6.0 3" duals, TOG long tubes, and then heads/cam. I bet I could get close to 370rwhp like that.

I wanna do an intercooled Magnacharger but, I figure I can have a great time with heads/cam and bolt ons as well as a bit of spray if I need... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> If the need ever arises (as I am sure it will) then I will then go to a blower.
