Default Everybody Needs Nitrous

this might be moved to the chat part of the forum but ill post it here first.I have realized that all the little boltons dont add up for much. i see a lot of people with lots of boltons still running high 14's. i have a 4.8 with basically a hypertech, intake, nitrous, and slicks(borrowed) running low 13's. i have 3.42's,no headers, no stall and not even a posi.if all you 5.3 guys would get nitrous you could easily be in the 12's.then add all the little boltons and be mid 12's.a ran a 15.37 N/A in 55* weather and a 13.3 in 85* degree weather. if i keep the nitrous in the winter then possibly hit 12's. basically all i am saying is nitrous is well worth the money and good for some low ETs.

Obviously I need more than you. What shot and fuel pills are you running? PM me if you don't want to post it. My lazy *** has the NOS kit(my old dry kit now setup for wet), Transgo, and Vette servo in my shop ready to put back in.

JJ tapped the rev limiter once too many times. His Ed Wright PCM just wasn't correct. I made a 13.8 pass in my 4x4, pulled out the tow strap, and had to pull JJ off the track.

I have to agree! I went from a 15.1@91 to a 13.6@100.87 the other night after installing a custom dry kit with a .052 jet. I could get better if I could spray out of the hole. I was having to wait till about the 60' mark before I could spray without them breaking loose. I am ready for some cooler weather and some drag radials now.

I prefer the boost to the gas

But, i've been putting stuff together for a while on what setup i'd like to do. I'm thinking Vortech T-trim and 14psi on a Vortec 6000 should be good But a 150-200 shot wouldn't be bad considering i'd like this to somewhat be a daily driver. hehe. I'd only toy w/ the fellow Silverado/Sierra boys....it's those Blue Oval boys i'm wanting to hit up lol.

For those that have spray, how well do you like it? what shot and system are you running? I know the LS1s tend to respond well to either system (heard more for the wet kit for the cars then dry), how do the trucks respond to either?
