Default Engine swap question

What would be involved in swapping a L92 & 6L90e into my 2003 2500HD 4x4 that has a LQ4 and 4L80e stock?

that year is the l92 and 6l90e out of? The l92 will be quite simple to do, if its a d.o.d. version and/or a vvt version youll have to delete those parts for regular parts which is also easy and straight forward to do so. The 6 speed swap would not be very easy, and IMO would be somewhat of a downgrade from the 4l80e

Not a swap that we have completed, but I believe to make the 6L90e work correctly you would need a standalone tcm.

I have been looking to do a l92/l9h swap in my Suburban and sell the built whippled 454 just to upgrade it. I have a 2010 Sierra Denali with the l9h and love the engine.

Have you found any reasonable pullouts for the 6.2s?
