What cam and heads should i get for a 5.3 to increase power. I am running 38's with 9 inches of lift? Where do i get them?

 

your not gonna be running any boost like a turbo or supercharger correct?

 

yea i dont plan to drop a radix in just yet...but maybe eventually.

 

well if you might be running a radix later on. a larger combustion style head might work a lil better. Throw on an LS6 style head from maybe TEA or Patriot Performanceand call up Comp cams and get their advice on the exact cam you want. thats just what i would probably do.
there are tons of other options too tho

 

say if i didnt put a blower in it, what do you recommend to increase the compression. I really dont thihnk i will blow the engine, so i need to find i head that just increase compression..say 10:1.

 

I'd probably go to Patriot Performance and buy a set of their 5.3L heads. This wont add compression but they will mill them for you and that'll gain you some compression. There is tons of places to buy heads but Patriot sells them for pretty cheap.
