i've been wondering this myself. i know the block is stamped but it has both numbers on it since the blocks are the same. is there a way, w/out looking the the RPO codes or the tag under the hood, that i could tell what size engine someone has?

which digit and whats the codes?

 

I believe it's in the manual. I can't recall what the letter codes are off hand.

 

Pretty sure the 5.3 is the letter "T". Not sure on the others.
