engine coolant circuit problem?

My engine light came on while i was driving and i ran my diagnostics in my programmer and it said something about a malifunction of my ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE CIRCUIT.....and after i started up again it went off....does anybody know or heard about this before?...any help would be great.....

i know...i still have a warranty...but you know i am curious about my truck and would like to know whats wrong with it...
but anyways i think i found out what the problem is...
i read up on it and it isnt the thermostat...its actually the wires or the sensors itself and they could be malifunctioning... and my PCM and ECT read the seperate reading and if the temperature readings vary for more then a degree for more then 2.53 seconds then it throws the engine light on....talk about touchy...
I also heard something about when you change your fuel over it can change the pcm reading....and i did switch back to 87 octane this morning...i usually run on 93 octane....im not too sure about this...but still could just be a coincidence...
but anyways i think i found out what the problem is...

I'm not sure...if i remember right it was P0016 or something like that... ill runt he programmer again today and see if the code is still in the computer

probably just a bad sensor. check your coolant level.
