If all goes well, a radix. some head work, bigger injectors , Pulleys, MSD ignition, build tranny, 3.73 eaton rearend. the most important of all, bad *** paint job, oh and paint my fiberglass sub enclosure.

I would even fie it up without the fans. I would let it get up to running temp to let the coolant system pressurize and check it for leaks. It would be a bitch if you had to pull them fans out to fix something.

If all checks well after that, let it cool off some and wait til later on after the traffic dies down and take it out and run it. Ascool as it has been lately you should be fine just as long as you don't have to stop for very long. I would deem it safe to 'test' run it without the fans running.

How long would it take to toss on the OE fan?5min.No way could i have a motor ready to fire and not do it.Must take an iron will not to.

If he's running the LS6 accessories, the waterpump doesn't have the threads to accept the trucks clutch fan.

I ran my truck for several days last winter without a fan. It never really got over the stock 210 temps. Only one time did it get hot when I sat in traffic for 15 minutes. Once I got moving the temps went right back down.

You'll be fine driving without fans. At speeds above 30 mph, the fans won't do any good anyway.

I just dont watnt o **** this thing up guys, Better safe than sorry. Im funning the truck acc. i almost got everything put together today. I have to start working on my dads truck tommorrow, somr idiot though it would be nice to key the damn thing. what an unhappy holiday hes having. On the other hand, with that money Im installing a Hpp3, billet grill, roll pan w/hitch, painting everything Denim Blue and buying a bd cover. The best part is that he doesnt know about my plans. ha ha
