Default Emulating the lightning

has anyone tried to emulate the Lighning? Ie wheel/tire size/type, sway bars, stall converter, shift points etc???? I bet with the new Magnacharger running an 8lb pulley, with some Lightning type info, it might actually be faster, and handle just as well. heres a link to the Lightning infor from Ferd Motor co.

That was the whole purpose of my truck. After I pay for some headers next then the 295 45 18 "Lightning" tires are next. I got the "towing/handling suspension" and there is no doubt in my mind that if I lower my truck about 2" and put on the Goodyears it would handle as good or better than the L. The only problem I see is the looks. I still don't love the 99-up Silverado and I don't know if it can look as good as the L just my .02

who would want to emulate a slow *** lightning? grow some *****, toss a 6.0 in there and run AT LEAST 8psi. in a rcsb you should be way faster then a lightning. talking low 12's here!!

Has anyone ever seen a side by side photo of an 03 GMC (with fogs) and an 02 Lightning? There was a post about it on another board not too long ago, and the new GMC looks like it might have been influenced some by the Lightning. Maybe one of you photo shop guys can make a side by side comparison and see what everyone thinks. I can't do **** on my Webtv or I would do it.

I hate fords but...
The L's with a exhaust, pulleys, and chip are running high 11s. Good luck getting there even with a 6L swap and 10psi!

i am running well into the 12's with a non intercooled 8-9psi and an extra 1000lb's or so.
