Default Electric fans worth it?

I was wondering if electric fans are worth having because they cost a lot of money. Thanks in advance.

They are worth it and they don't cost a lot money. I was able to both of my trucks for less than $150 each.

They are worth it if you do the LS1/LT1 fans, probably not for the Flex-a-lites at $400.

Default Some Cons

Better city MPG in the summer by at least 2 MPG. Better highway MPG by at least 1 MPG. Cooler AC temps in summer stopped traffic while idling.
If you have the 34" radiator like the HD, or SS trucks you can go with the OE fans for an 05 truck. They are nice.
A better view of the front of the engine.

I think at 400 they are worth it if you do a lot of city driving. 2MPG better is quite a bit espeically with gas 2 bucks a gallon. Defintly at 150 or so for LS1 fans they are a good deal. I've been wanting to get them for a while. I'd say go for it.
