Default Ok so i should .....

take the tube off of the intake?? I have a nelson tune and i deleted the egr. I put the plate on the exhaust, so you guys say i should block off the intake hole too?? Didnt think it would matter??

definately YES!!! get rid of the whole assembly. your intake might be sucking air from the egr hole if its still there, but just disconnected from the exhaust. if you search around theres a GM part number for the plug that goes into the intake when you disconnect the egr system. it was like 12 bucks for me and i used it just to keep it looking factory. alot of guys just use freeze plug.

go buy a 1-3/8" rubber freeze plug.
