the function of the egr is to reuse exhaust fumes, reburning the fumes reduses emissions..... i took that away... and i took shitty exhaust running through my engine....

Did you know it reduces combustion tempatures while decreasing oxides of nitrogen emissions. This could allow you to tune more timing !

CHECK FOR LEAKS!!!! When you have plugged the intake, go ahead and fire up the motor and spray some starting fluid around the plug. If its leaking, the motor will try to die. I asked silverbrick if he ever checked his for a leak. He was having issues with the truck but after we found that his plug was leaking, some of those issues went away from what i understand. DEFINATELY CHECK FOR LEAKS!!!

hey guys, i was wondering if a tune is the only possible way to avoid the CEL?
I heard of a fellow blocking the hose a little bit more every week until after 2 months or so he finally completely blocked it and never had a CEL.
Anyone ever heard of this?

dammit man im an ediot i shoulda known both the header hole for the egr and the intake hole have to be plugged. I have it turned off in the tune so would that mean i can take all the egr accessories off? (tubes, wiring harness, etc)
