Ok, I figured it was BS. I also read somewhere that efans are not a good idea with a supercharger, why not?

i have duel electric fans and a supercharger, the only problem i had was when the controller stuck and would'nt engage fans. my temp shot to 250 + pulled over fiddled with the rheostat, it brought it back down to 190 in less then 30 seconds in 102 heat. so cooling ability is not a question in my mind, reliability would be my only concern. i've heard that 1 fan can cool the engine well enough if the other should fail. if they both go at once, i guess i'm screwed.
