Oh yea, make sure the fans are pulling the air into the engine bay, not pushing it out. If they're going the wrong direction you should be able to reverse polarity on the harness to the fan motors to change the fans' direction.

the fans are pulling air into the engine bay, i made sure of that before anything. I went ahead and ordered a new stat for slp. the fans are runng on high. thanks for the help. later
