Default Edelbrock ias shocks vs stock bilstiens?

This will be going on a 2001 C3 that already has the stiffer sport suspension with bilstien shocks as factory equipment. I'll be putting some hellwig sway bars on the front and back, and have heard some comments of how firm the ride is with sway bars and the ias shocks.

I've been pretty happy with the ride the factory bilstiens give, although it is a little firm, and just wondering how the ride would compare with the ias shocks I have sitting in the box, with the sway bars.

The salesman at performance suspension in Phx thinks it would be even stiffer with the factory bilstiens than the ias. The factory bilstiens are twice the cost of the ias, and I would'nt want it much firmer than it is now. Truck has 95,000 ,iles on it, so it's due for some new shocks of some sort.

Any exoerience or ideas with this would be helpful. What about the adjustable shocks I've seen mentioned here (are they adjustable on the vehicle?). Thx!

I put the IAS shocks on my last two trucks and really liked them. You do need to check them periodically. They used to have a leaking problem. Had one do it on my last truck.
