FWIW, you guys should be wiping down your headers before starting them the first time. Any oil from your hands/fingerprints will be burned in. I wore rubber gloves and gave them an alcohol wipedown first.

Do you remember the part number for your plug wires, and where did you get them???

Anyone try this style? They look like a pacesetter copy - and don't have the stupid tube in the way of the plug wires.

I believe that is what Dan (DV2000NJ) is running on his 2000 extra cab silvy...he said the fit is perfect, just doesn't have the weird hump on the driver side

The Ebay listing says for 1500 4.8 and 5.3. What would prevent these from working on a 2000 2500 6.0?

im running the tahoe headers to on my 5.3 crew cab they fit good had to trim the bolt on steering shaft but that was it, no issues with plug wires you have to make your own y pipe but i needed to do that anyway because im lowered and they are 3" collectors

The 6.0 2500's have the dual exhaust where the 1500's have a y-pipe. If you used a 1500 style cat-back, or had custom pipes made off of the header collectors, the headers themselves will work

Yep, thanks. Thats the answer I was looking for. I just wanted to know if the headers would fit the truck/frame etc.
