Question Eaton Locker

Here's my question. I have a 1994 Camaro Z28 with an Eaton locker. It came with the 800# springs. And I love it. I want to put the same into my 1999 Silverado. Do you think I need the big spring and plates in it? Or will I be fine with the stock 400# springs. My truck is a daily driver. I don't really care about the tire wair because I get them next to nothing or free anyways. Has anybody had problems with the 400# springs? As my mods progress I just want to know that the rear end will hold up. Thanks in advance.

most people have left the Eaton the way it came out of the box, and are perfectly satisfied with it.
