Default E-fans on and work great but have some ?'s

I finally had a day with some free time so installed my ls1 fans that have been sitting in my shop for a couple of weeks. I got them in and they work and look sweet!!! Right now I have them both to automatically come on at 175 and work perfect. However I have a couple of wireing questions.
I have looked through 3 different sites for wireing info and most ended up with dead links or the discriptions were a little vague.
1. Where are you getting the ignition wire from?? Under the hood or incide the cab?
2. Where are you hooking up the a/c wire to? the A/C compressor or somewhere else?
3. Does any one know how to wire them to where they cut off when freeway running and will run when in traffic?

On a different note I had to go out and test it roasted the tires in first gear and caught 2nd good. A little of that could be b/c I had the battery unplugged for a bit.
