Heres a pretty good how-to for 99-02

I was looking on rock auto and it seems there was a thicker 05+ 34" radiator, Acdelco # 21648, for Police vehicles, they are 5/16 in thick instead of 1/8 (not a big difference), but anyone use them?

Any reviews on the Doorman or 4 seasons fans?

Here is some additional info I got from talking with Dorman:

Dorman 620-652: 5/7 blade fans (05-07) - No additional specs

Dorman 620-653: 7/7 blade fans (07-10) - 20 Amp per fan, Left fan pulls 2800cfm and Right ran pulls 2700cfm right

Dorman 620-654: 7/9 blade fans (10-13) - Both fans pull 3000cfm each, Left fan pulls 26 Amps and Right fan pulls 24 Amps.

Here's some additional info...

I had real bad luck with Dorman fans. I was running the 620-653 in my 01 with a Nelson harness. They didn't last 6 months. Both motors burned up.

I purchased the TYC 622210 (7/9 blade comparable to the Dorman 620-654) and then are much better quality than the Dorman fans. The motors hook up the same way as the factory fans on my dad's 08. Meaning the way the motor is attached to the blades and everything is the same as oem. They are also noticeably heavier. I highly recommend the TYC 622210 and they are only around $160 on amazon. My alternator went out and voltage got low but the TYC fans are still going strong. No complaints

P.S. Dorman was great about honoring the warranty. Service was top notch. It did take a couple weeks but they gave me a full refund and some extra money just for explaining to them exactly what happened and what I did to troubleshoot.

I asked my question way to quickly...TYC makes 3 versions as well

TYC 622230 = DORMAN 620-652

TYC 622220 = DORMAN 620-653

TYC 622210 = DORMAN 620-654

I want to put it on my 6.0 2500 Yukon XL

I emailed TYC on specs and this is what they said:

Thank you for contacting TYC/Genera with your inquiry. Please see the information below as requested:

622230 – Radiator side (Left) – 25 AMPS CFM = 2250.7
Condenser side (Right)- 20 AMPS CFM = 2246.9

622220- Radiator side (Left) – 25 AMPS CFM = 2299.1
Condenser side (Right) – 25 Amps CFM = 2278.6

622210- Radiator side (Left) – 27 AMPS CFM = 2372.2
Condenser side (Right) – 27 Amps CFM = 2104.5

Let me know if you have any other questions.
