I plan on putting some e-fans on soon and was wondering if anybody has had any problems in the summer with the ac on. Any overheating problems etc. Just want to make sure this is going to be a reliable swap? Thanks in advance!
oh yeah whats the best degree stat to run, i live in pa and summers are hot and winters are cold.

I just installed my e-fans along with a 160* t-stat and it was recently ~87 here in Florida and it was running alot cooler than the stock fan and t-stat w/ the ac blasting. I am using the VSC so when the ac turns on the fans do too. I think the LS1 fans would push more cfm than the stock fan anyway, but if you really want to run cool drop in a 160* t-stat along with the fans.

E Fans Are Great I Used A Proform Mustang 5.0 Fan It Has An Alternate Wire For The Postive Lead Of The A/c Compressor When It Is On It Turns The Fan On As Well As Far As The Tstat I Used The 1.80 Degree U Might Leave Yours Stock For Thewinter

You forsure want to have the fans on at low speeds with the A/C on when you are going under ~40mph. You need the extra cooling capacity.
I've run the LS1 fans on my Z71 for like two years now in the hot *** Texas summer and also the same setup on my F150, no cooling problems at all.
I HIGHLY recommend getting a 130A alt for the fans with stock crank pulley and a 180-200A with underdrive pulleys...
