Default E-Fans

I see everybodys getting them , do they take away the nasty fan clutch noise.if so what fans should i get, what brand,and i heard somewhere they give an advertised 30 hp is that true please help me.i know its been asked like a million times but i need to know beacuse its not a 50 cent candy. help thanx.

In the order you asked:
Yes.
Flex-a-lite or ls1 fans, they do the same thing.
30 hp? I don't think so.

Get the LT1 or LS1 fans. Be weary of the LS1's and make sure they came from a V8 powered car, as there are V6 fans that look exactly like the LS1's but with smaller fan motors (will not pull enough CFM's). Have Allen at nelsonperformance program your pcm to run the fans and get the fan harness from him, looks and runs like a factory setup.

Cost:
Lt1/Ls1 fans--$90-$150 (ebay)
Harness--$80-$90
Mounting harware--$10-$18

The fans do not create more HP, what they do is free up HP to the rear wheels by reducing the drag on the engine (I hear it is 15-17HP). Also, they will free up some MPG's around town.
