Default e-fan harness

For those of you with the nelson harness for flex-a-lite fans, when you recieved your harness did it come with the fuses, or did you have to buy them seperatly? I just got my harness, and it looks awsome, but there aren't any fuses on the 3 blocks. What gives?

Thanks,
Jesse

There should be 3 relays on there, they may have forgotten to include them. I believe that the harness has fusible links in it for circuit protection.

They're regular 5 pin automotive relays, you can get them at Radio Shack. There aren't any external fuses, fusible links are built into the harness.

Oops got my terminoligy mixed up, I do need to get relays. I can go to the parts store and get em. I guess with the overnight next day shipping they got overlooked. Darn with the exta $40 for the overnight shipping you would think I'd get a kiss and a hug from them too.

I got the Nelson harness for 05 e-fans. It has fuseable links built in it. They aren't fuses they are basically a modified wire that will break connection if the amp draw gets too high. I would email Allen but I don't believe you need fuses. If you ever have a problem you could wire in fuses for easier replacement but I don't think it will be nessecary to do before the install.

well, I got everything takin care of today. I went to the speed shop and they had the relays. I dropped off the harness this morning, and got my westers re-tune sometime today, so I brought it to them after work.
I had to burn off the rest of the 87 crap gas, now its 93 or nothin!.....
Dyno tunes are really helpful
Tomorrow I'm dropping the truck off to get the FAL,Nelson Harness, and new computer put in,cant wait to see the results!

Later and thanks to everyone for the help.

Jesse
