Default E-Fan Clips

Does anyone know if when you install ls1 fans if you can use the generic plastic clips that go through the radiator to hold similar fans on?

I hope I discribed them correctly i cant upload a picture of them and I cant use the search function my wifi is so bad i can barely start this thread.

Any help would be appreciated my fab skills are horrible but these clips would give me the time to fab up top mounts after the fans are in or would the clips be ok for long term use.

I know the clips that you're referring to, they're like zip ties that go through the radiator...I'm not a fan of those things for use with anything personally. (You often see them used with auxialary trans coolers). I wouldn't want them supporting the weight of efans, but that's just me...not even sure if they'll work. Brackets can be made from a few small strips of metal that will bolt to the fans and radiator support...I'd go that route myself. If you search for "LS1 fans" you should find a bunch of pics of past installs
