Correct me if im wrong, please. Is'nt the westers a wide range tune? ie., changes factory settings. The dyno fine tunes your more obvious settings, ie., air-fuel ratio.

Am i correct? I'm a total noob here. I just got a westers PCM and would like to get my truck tuned on a dyno. My question was is the dyno tune gonna effect my westers settings in my PCM? over kill???

Yes, it will. If you are planning the dyno tune, you should have not bothered with the Wester's tune.

The Wester's tune is more of a generic tuning. Whereas the dyno tune will be specific to your vechicle because it is tuned based on the responses/results from YOUR vehicle on the dyno.

Hope that helps.
