Default Dyno Results

Well the Yank 2600 ate up some horsepower on the dyno. So the power increase of the 90mm FAST intake are a little cloudy on exactly how much more power it made over the truck intake.

My original numbers with the Truck Intake through the cut-outs were 382rwhp/376rwtq.

New numbers after the Yank 2600, ASP pulley, and FAST 90mm Intake/UMI Throttle Body are:

394rwhp/408 rwtq

I'm pretty happy with these numbers. I was really expecting to hit 400+rwhp, but the heads are choking the motor up top. For example last time it peaked at 5800 rpms. Today the horsepower peaked all day a 5500 rpms and carried over until about 5800 rpms. The torque did the same. Last time it peaked at 4700-4800 and today right about 4500. The powerband should be moving up with this intake, not down. I'm gonna invest in some more serious heads soon. Probably the trickflows. But as of right now, I can't money wise. Truck runs like a beast though!

My first run without converter bolt on 5.3 vs my same mods but added a yank tt 2600 dropped my power down 14hp if i remember correctly.
So nice gains all around man.

I really don't remember, it was right on though. The first few runs, it was pretty rich. By the 3rd or 4th run, Allan got me a little over 25rwhp from tuning out the base tune that I had from him in the mail! So overall the ported 90mm F.A.S.T. intake on my set-up was worth over at least 30-40rwhp!

My peak torque with this cam should be 4800-5000 rpms and it's peaking at 4500. The horsepower should carry out to at least 6200 rpms and it's peaking at 5500. Allan said that it sounds like the heads aren't flowing enough. I told him that the engine builder also advanced the cam 4*. The F13 already has a 4* advance, so I told them when I picked my block up to install it straight up and retard it the 4* that they advanced. They might not have done it right according to Allan. So, I'm gonna go ahead and get some Trickflow 215s and that should solve the problem with the early "peaking", if not, I'm gonna have Allan check the cam. But based on the fact that all I changed motor-wise was the intake/tb, it's peaking 200-300 rpms sooner & should be peaking 300-500 rpms later, it might be the heads. If not, I'll have Allan fix the cam and the trickflow heads are badass anyways! Special Thanks to Allan Futral for the bad-*** dyno-tune, as always!

On the graphs, the blue is throught the cats/duals all the way out the back & the red is throught the cut-outs.

Here is the truck intake/ported tb/stock stall:

Here is the 90mm F.A.S.T. intake/90mm UMI TB/Yank 2600:

Not too bad. Once you get things straight you should be running very strong. What are ya hoping to run in her 1/4 wise?

those are some pretty sweet numbers, looks like all your power is pretty low in the power band. Just wondering how far out your actually shifting it at? looks like you probably wouldn't have to go past 6000 but i was just curious.
