That's what I was wondering, maybe that reverse split or a single pattern is better to help in turbo spool-up. Perhaps that way there is no exhaust overlap/scavenging or something. The cams in my WRX are single patterns...for what it's worth...

Good info parish! I like the vids too I was waiting for the camera guy to get a shot of the glowing red passenger header. I still can't believe it melted the wheel well

So you did add more timing below that 5000rpm mark and not just above... If you did add below, I would think that torque curve would really pick up. I know adding 5-6* timing in my truck with the boost feels like I added another 4psi.

Sometimes 1 degree of timing is worth 1 psi of boost.
