Wanted everyone's opinion. I have a fbo nbs truck, with a stock intake and throttle body, with a custom spec'd cam. Made 328 on a dynamite chassis dyno, with 3.73 gears and 20's. I was really happy with the numbers, but the torque was below 300lb ft. Is this normal for a 5.3? I'm kinda new to the ls world. Oh yea also through a 60e and a circle d 3200 278mm locked.

most 5.3's ive seen the HP and TQ are very close

Local shop tuned it, it's a little soggy below 2200 but runs out hard after that. Cam is pretty big for stock heads it's 227/232 .617/.595 114+3.

 

With a cam that size, you would expect the TQ to be lower than HP.
