How big a cam are you going to run in the thing ?
with less Cubes your gonna need to flow some more air for sure
I'm guessin 550rwhp on 14psi what can that Gt 67 support ?

Ski~ i dont even have the engine back yet from the builder so we havent picked a cam yet. I was seen a gt70 make 670rwhp on 10psi. So i hope to make 550+ with the gt67.

im guessing with the mods and the boost, 550 is a fare #. good luck.
the 4.8 with the right parts is fine, nothin wrong with it, seems turbo like lowwer cubes anyway! good luck with it

I got faith bro!!!! Im guessing 550 to 600+rwhp. And i think with that kinda of hp and good traction you should be in the 11's easy.

Brad~ I am still waiting for the engine to get back to Don. I am hoping to have the kit on by the end of this month

Slamed~ Thanks for the "4.8" support. I am hopin to get into the 11's with out any other suspension mods. We will see in acouple months

I'm gonna guess 510rwhp on 13psi..

It's hard to say because you'll have good heads and a great tuner.

I made 436rwhp on 13psi my first time out with just methanol, no intercooler, stock 5.3L and a turbo cam. We were still learning to tune also. So you'll obviously be much higher and being a long rod motor I doubt the 4.8L will be much behind the 5.3L with a turbo.

I also forsee lots of lag with the GT67 on the 4.8L and low compression :p

I don't see why you couldn't run 11s NP as long as you can boost off the line and get traction
