Default Dynatech Headers ???????

Hey guys, might be starting my buildup soon, my girl and I are considering a swap of trucks. I know I will want to run Long Tubes with a Catted y-pipe and then true duals all the way back. I know the Supermaxx system they spec out for the 4.8, 5.3 Sierra/Silverado use catted y-pipe that collects into a single flanged catback. I am wanting to run true-duals, I know that HD system of these headers are dual catted pipe to true dual exhaust. Do they sell the dual catted pipes seperately or will the HD/6.0 system work on a 2wd 5.3?

Yes, I am set on Cats, so the pacesetters and ORY is not my choice.

I have a set on my 5.3. They first sent me that was for the 6.0. It did not collect run into one pipe after the Y. I am almost certian the HD/6.0 would work on your truck.

Well, we haven't made the full decision yet, but, I will most likely be letting my girl drive the Z71 and I'll take her truck to mod. 04 Sierra Ext Cab short bed/5.3. Its just easier, we have that one and its a good truck to mod, not the RCSB like I'd like, but with us still trying to get into a house, I don't want to make any big changes that could hinder getting a mortgage loan.

Well I want a RCSB truck but the hard part is getting out of my girls truck. She still owes quite a bit on it, and we can't do any big purchases like a new vehicle unless we can get it for lower payments until after the house purchase. And right now, who knows when we will find the house we want.

well stop looking for the perfect house and just get one, live in it for a few years, build your credit up, then while your in the house start looking at areas for the best place you want to build one, after you buy your first house it get easier to buy the next one. how much do you owe on the 04 truck? send me a PM

Kev, **** if it was that easy, I'd already be in a house. Its the little woman, we have to have enough land for her hobby, her horse. Find a place with enough land, decent house, I can remodel if its at least decent, and at least fenced is a pain in the ***. She is going to be loosing her free stable boarding soon, so we have to get into something pretty quickly.

I think she owes like 20,000 on the truck. I think the salesman screwed her when she bought it.

AP, yeah, if I do mod the ECSB, I'll be coming for my title. lol. Staying N/A of course, massive amounts of weight reduction, and a sizeable cam, stall, etc........ I've actually been driving her truck all weekend and it runs pretty damn good, only thing done is a magnaflow exhaust. But that would change too.

BTW Kev, did you get that new cam in yet. I just want to see how streetable it is, thinking about one round about in that range.
