Oh remember you want small tubing to the turbo to increase velocity = faster spool. Get everythign Jet Hot 2000° coated too, I did on my WRX. Heat stays in the tubing much better, heat under hood is much less, etc. It's cheap. I paid $140 to do my down pipe and about $40 to do the uppipe.

Actually Hit Man X: mpg only improve 1-2 intown (11-10 to 13.0), but highway mpg(16mpg avg.) is up to. I think it was more intake than anything, had it on before my tune. Also heads and cam only net about 425hp maybe a tad more. head, cam, intake manifold, will get you about 480hp+.
remember this all on n/a motor on 87 pump gas, though I have not seen the torque numbers yet.
I have notice that the 8.1 is serious stuff up, thinking it something to do with(it maybe ULEV) LEV emission classification.
May have to look at marine div. for forged crank. The pricing has not been set yet, so we will see how much it cost for big power. Soon to be starting 4x4 performance store, who knows tax write off for buisness R&D purposes.

gator's 99TA: One flick of my foot and I am not low rpm anymore. . Also guarrtee you that twin 8.1 will blow doors off any juice dmax at the drag strip.

67SS&99Z28: Tell your buddy to go to the thedieselplace.com and get juiced!!

When you build this setup, keep us posted. I'd rather have a TT 8.1 than a Dmax

In month and half, I will starting a website only. Featuring products that are design and tested for Chevy/GMC HD series trucks. I am just starting out in the buisness world, have a daily job yet. Going to be slowly coming out with different products for 8100 vortec mostly, then probably crossing over into the small blocks. But looking to get started next (hopefully)early year somtime on the tt 8.1. Right now looking for some low price turbos, maybe remaned furd powerstrokes turbos. I am still researching.
