Duramax 3.5" exhaust piping on non 2500hd truck anyone ?
Curious i was wondering if anyone has used the OEM duramax 3.5 exhaust piping on there 1500 gas truck?

I have one here and was thinking of slapping it on the 5.3 and long tubes for now.

 

yup, the muffler is 3.5 all the way thru too. It is quiet on a gas motor. you will have to shorten the tail pipe and modify the inlet obviously. had one on my truck

 

Have one on my truck now, longtubes off road y-pipe into it, when cruise is set cant even hear the truck, but once you get on the gas its definitely noticeable

 

I have 2003 Duramax exhaust on my truck with eBay headers. I modded the y pipe on the eBay set up to 3.5" then gutted and opened up the muffler so it was a true 3.5" flow. It sounds real good cruising and at full throttle it screams.
