Default Ok guys, need help please.

I bought a nnbs intake at a swap meet the other day taking a chance that it's good. Paid 100 bucks and has rails and injectors. Problem is after inspecting it at home, I realized that I overlooked that the port or nipple for the brake booster on the back of the intake was missing. There looks to be whats left of the opposite side still inside the whole is a lock ring of some sort. I have an old broke intake from my 07 classic 6.0 that has the port or nipple still on the back. It somewhat slides back and forth to reveal a red o ring. The whole thing will spin like it can be removed. Can someone please tell me how to remove it so I can use the nnbs intake or is the new intake just broke? All help is appreciated guys.

push towards the intake on the red ring and pull the nipple out. if you are familiar with push-to-connect (PTC) fittings its the same thing.

The whole fitting should pull out...or do you mean it came with the plug and you need the actual fitting?
