Default Dump exhaust or tips?

I have a 5.3l with a 3 inch single glass pack and its dumped right at the axle.....im kind of wanting to run some rectangular tips out each side of the truck by the doors and getting rid of the glass pack completely.....running strait out of the cats ( i like the sound ). What do you guys think? keep the clean look of dumped exhaust or go with tips?

I think that running the tips by the doors might help to contribute to a cab full of carbon monoxide. If you try to do both sides back further by the bed, you will run into problems on the driver's side due to the location of the gas tank. IMO, keep em dumped.

Yea i will stay with dumped exhaust. I have the stock sized pipe going to around the rear axle area..... then i upsized it to a 3 inch glass pack....would i gain anything going to a 3 inch all the way back from the y pipe instead of the stock size? or is there no point. Only mods are CAI and exhaust.

theirs no point until you get more modified. I would pull that glass pack off and dump the exhaust right before the rear axle. I think you will like the sound alot better then the glasspack even though you already like that sound.
