Question Dry vs. Wet shot nitrous?

Ok, please excuse my ignorance because I should know this from hanging around this site so much but what are the differences between wet shot nitrous and dry shot?

A dry shot just injects nitrous into your intake, and you have to rely on your fuel system to add the fuel to compensate.

The wet shot injects fuel as well as the nitrous through 2 nozzles so you dont have to rely on your fuel system to get the fuel in there.

thats basically it

Yep. Dry shot is before the MAF sensor...so the computer reads it and adjusts...
Wet shot is after the MAF sensor about 6" before the TB I think...you shoot nitrous and fuel...

Exactly, the fuel makes it wet. With the dry shot, you need to make sure you have enough fuel injector to support your motor power and the additional power from the nitrous.

Either way, you are still relying on your stock fuel system to support it.

Do you mean "harder" as in when it comes on it feels more powerful?
If you shoot a 100 dry shot vs. a 100 wet shot, isn't that the same amount of power?(100HP)
Sorry, I'm new to nitrous and am trying to learn as well.
I'm thinkin of doin a 100 dry shot on my stock truck..and when I want to go more I'll upgrade the stock injectors and fuel system.

Why would a wet shot hit harder? Ive had both and I was always faster with the dry over the wet, but the wet kit didn't hit harder
