Dry Flow air filter?
#1
I know on these trucks air filters do make a huge difference, but I currently have a cheap autozone oil cone filter on my truck. It is rusting and the placement of the filter given the uniqueness of the truck means it will see a fair share of dust and mositure. I will be making a cover for it soon, but I was thinking I would try a dryflow from AEM since I would then not have to worry about oil.
Any opinions?
Thanks

Personally, I like the idea of not having to oil my air filter...call me lazy lol. I recently swapped out my Volant filter for an Amsoil dry filter. It hasn't been that long but so far so good. I say go for it

I've heard dry flow filters out perform oiled gauze filters because once you put the oil on the Gauze it cant flow as good. Remember when parts stores had the K&N displays with there filter and a paper filter to put in the tube to raise a ping pong ball. The filters were never oiled....maybe that was to keep my hands clean while playing with it.
I've tried both and the dry flow is much easier to clean....and my hands don't get as dirty when I play with it.
