Dropping the oil pan ??? yes or no

Default Dropping the oil pan ??? yes or no

Does the crossmember need to be removed to drop the pan, or can it be dropped with out taking it out. Will it clear the member..

yes, ive dropped the pan and it clears crossmember...but the linkage to tranny for shifter must be removed which was a pain in the ***! but it will clear member.

To replace the gasket with a fresh new one , also curious too see inside the beast..

oops just finished reading, thought was tranny pan....sorry, unaware if oil pan will clear

I removed mine with no problem at all! I also did rod bolts with the motor still in the truck.

Your truck must be special lol, I had to drop the member, the rack to get mine to come out . No possible way for it to, atleast mine was that way..
