well, at the silveradoss.com meet this weekend the trailblazer converter was tested by mwalls54. the torque converter held up just fine, but the input shaft on his 4L65E did not. i'd say the converter should be able to handle pretty decent amounts of power since the hardened shaft of the 65E broke before it did. if i had to guess i'd say on the nitrous he's putting down somewhere near 600hp so it seems to be doing it's job.

i believe he got around 18mpg or so averaging like 80+. he'll probably post on this today.

So you can still get this stall? how many rpm is this over stock? and what's the total cost?

the stall is still available and price depends on who you buy it through. stall behind a 2wd 5.3 should be around 2200-2400.
