Cracking the tps blade too much can cause issues too.

Heres what i do. Set the blade set screw to where the TPS voltage is within factory spec at 0% throttle(search that voltage i cant remember it off the top of my head). From there, drill the throttle blade until you get an IAC count of 40-80 when the motor is up to temp in park/neutral. This method keeps the PCM happy and the motor happy.

Thats a pretty wide margin, and doesn't give your IAC alot of room for adjustment on the top end. But what ever works.

Iac is just there for idle. Why are you worried about it at top end?

I made some adjustments last night and its much better. Turned the set screw in a bit and now i get start up no problem. Just need to adjust the IAC as when im idling it moves the truck, should be a simple adjustment. Just a little fine tuning and it should be good to go. TPS seems to read good as well.

I meant the top of its range during slow cruise or idle, not high RPM. Mine counts from 0-about 100 and 80-100 isn't much room for making adjustments when it trying to compensate for the throttle blade slamming shut.

Damn I have the same problems as you right now that justin and I have been going back and forth on. I have a 102MM and every day on start try to adjust Blade to find a sweet spot.

Just sent justin this video the other day as I get this **** too.
