Question Does ANYONE have high-flow cats for Silverado?

I have a 2000 Silverado 5.3 4x4 with numerous upgrades, and my cats need to be replaced. I've spent the last 2 days scouring the 'net for high-flow cats, but to no avail. I figure if I'm going to spend the money out of necessity, I might as well get something performance-minded, right? So does anyone know where I can order a high-perf daul-cat y-pipe assembly for this damned thing?

Thanks!

I have seen high flow cats in the Summit and/or Jegs catalog. You may check with them.

you won't find a direct fit kit for the truck. Gm cats flow as good as anything else so a salvage yard set would be a good bet.
You could have a muffler shop weld in replacement cats to the existing y-pipe and you
magnaflow convertors, but if it was mine i'd try and find a used low milage oe pipe.

I have magnaflow high flow cats on my truck if you need the part number I can get it for you. I have dual 2.5" exhaust on my truck though let me know what size exhaust diameter you have and Ill find out the part number for you. You will like how they make your exhaust sound.

Are these cats bolt ins are are you required to weld them into the existing y-pipe assembly?

Thanks

You could get the Dynatech long tube headers w/ cats & y-pipe...it's real expensive ($1200 to $1400), but it's a real nice system. TByrne has GP's on them from time to time.

THE magnaflow's are a direct replacement--bolt-in, they are a complete y-pipe with high flow cats. just unbolt your y-pipe and bolt theirs in,probably take about 30-45 minutes.
