I don't have the printed 4 volume set, but I do have the GM Service Information techline CDs. The paper manuals may be better, I don't know. But my online manuals really give me the info I need to know. It gives diagnostic and repair instructions, component locator, disassembly and assembly instructions, etc...

Plus I can get to it anywhere I go that has internet access.

Here is a quick sample pic:


(1) Torque Converter Assembly (Model Dependent On Size)
(2) Pump to Case Bolt
(3) Pump to Case Bolt O-Ring
(4) Oil Pump Assembly
(5) Oil Seal (Pump to Case)
(6) Pump Cover to Case Gasket
(7) Case Bushing
etc...........
