Default do e-fans really make a difference?

about 3-4months ago, I had my e-fans on and I raced a lightning, and I would pull about 1-1.5 trucks on him, now I have the stock clutch fan and I raced the same guy and he got me by very little.( I was right behind his door)... the only difference is that I dont have the efans no more and that I had a passenger with me (250lbs+).... do yall think if I put the efans back on and race by myself that I can get him on the next one?

either way the e-fans are going back on it...

I think my throttle response time was DEFINITLY increased.

Not sure about acceleration. Don't think I noticed it to much.

My front end is louder now when I have AC on.. I'll tell you that much.

It makes some difference, but I'm sure it was mostly that extra (250+lbs) passenger. Every little bit counts.

I didn't notice any performance or mileage gain. I did just swap back to the clutch fan for the summer because when I towed my trailer in low speed traffic the truck would get up to about 240 degrees and the A/C stopped working. Swapped back to the clutch fan and all is better for now. I plan to swap the the larger radiator and e-fans when I swap in the 6.2L if for nothing other than ease of service and better airflow into the throttle body.

Your passenger cost you about 2 tenths in the 1/4. Need to drop him off next time

I noticed that the efans freed up alot of extra..........

space in the engine compartment Didn't feel a SOTP difference though. I had my PCM tuned for a cooler stat at the sime time that I installed the efans and thought that I felt something afterwards, but it may have just been the placebo effect.

I did the fans for control purposes and the little extra HP was a side benefit. The passenger hurt you more than the fans helped you IMO.
