Any sound clips of a Comp 216/220 on a 114? I have ran a search and have found lots of Info but no sound clips. I'm thinking about this one for my 4.8 and use a TB stall behind it with a good tune. Good combo??? Thanks in advance... P.J.

Ok, I had this one in my 04 GMC Crew Cab. It was a 5.3 and was about a medium sized cam for the motor. It did lope but you really could't tell it much through the mufflers. Now when I had my cutouts open, you could definitely tell it was in there. Great little cam, could really feel it come in at about 1800-2000 rpm. I was running it with a Hughes Performance 2500 rpm stall converter, which IMO was too little. Ideally a 2800 converter or higher would have maximized the performance gains of the cam. Although it will run fine with a TB Stall. I have no clips, but it was a good cam. I think that Flyer was running this same cam at one time, might want to check with him on a sound clip.

I got some old sound clips of it in my 5.3. The blower killed the lope in it though.

Right click, save target as when you download the sounds.

I put this cam in my buddys truck and it loped a little better. He's got a 4.8, it woke it up a good bit. He insists on running the cheapest gas money can buy. I was thoroughly impressed with the difference the cam made!
