Default dmh cutouts, whats the deal?

are they another company that will take your money to make a sale and not back it up later? im sure if i reached out to them to buy they would get back to me...

one of my cutouts got all messed up and from the looks of doing a search others have had problems with getting things fixed.

may just have to make my own then. not sure what your guys problems were but it started as a rattle that then sheared the set screw while on a road trip. i had nothing to fix it and it ate itself up over the remainder of the trip. i tried fixing it myself but i think it messed the motor up. its nice and quiet if i were to hold the switch closed but as soon as i let go it sounds like santa is coming with his jingle bells

I got a 4" cutout from them about 6 months ago. I read all of the bad hype about them and I would have gone with another company but they make theirs with the 3 holes elongated so you can rotate the cutout for clearance, something I had to have.

Luckily, the guy answered first call and I had the cutout in a couple weeks. I would say I got lucky. I heard their warranty service sucks though. Hopefully they will be better when I need warranty work. But so far so good!

Sucks to hear Schino. , I really need to buy a cutout also. , already welded in the "y " , but have to take it off manually on a lift , truck is to low to lay under at the track lol

So any of you guys know where to get a good dependable cutout ?

For those of you that missed it I did back to back dyno pulls and cutout open was worth 16/16 on my combo , def worth it for the track

DMH is really the only one I have read multiple bad things about on several different forums.

I've got a friend who bought a summit brand e-cutout a couple years ago and it still does him well!

I looked into QTP and Raceready myself, but ended up holding out. IIRC, RR had the best warranty.

I had the qtp cut out on my old truck. worked great for awhile, then the set screws came loose and it fell apart. I think any of them, it would be smart to remove screws and locktite the crap out of them before they cause problems

Had a qtp on mine for years with no problems, it was still working when I sold it.
