my DMH worked flawlessly for several years. then it started to rattle and the set screws sheared off. the guy answered the first time i called and told me to ship it to him with a note for a return address and that i would have it back in a couple of weeks. i never heard from him again. i sent emails and messages with no response for over 4 months. i am also looking for another brand as well.

i was looking through spoolin's build thread a while back and he had some nice looking cutouts on his gray rcsb that he said he liked. forgot what brand they were though.

 

I ran QTP's when I had the sbc in my truck. Never had an issue with them but I only ran the sbc for a couple years.

 

I have 3 of them in a box, all are broken

2 of them lasted 3 years, the newest one lasted 4 months

I'm starting to think that QTP and DMH are made at the same place !

 

Had a very similar issue with DMH. Minus I bought a 2.5" and needed a 3", called DMH and the guy said sure no problem, send it back to us and we will swap them out. That was 2 years ago, multiple phone calls unanswered and tons of emails also unanswered. Really glad I handed my $200 cuts out back to them and have nothing to show for it..

 

Sounds like I should sell my cutout while it's working

I love my Sound Performance boost activated cutout. Its a little pricey, but opens under boost.

My buddy sent his in and took over a month to get it back with allot of emails and calls never returned.
