Default DMH cutout to race muffler?

On my new denali i love the way the stock exhaust sounds but i dont think it flows very well. So this is my idea go from a 3.5 cut out to a 3.5"magnaflow 6" long race muffler with a dump for when i need a lil more power and sound. Has anyone used a dump with a muffler before?

So you want the cutout to open up into another muffler with a turn down?

I've thought about it before, but I'd just have the cutout open up straight pipe. I'm not sure how its gonna sound coming through a stock muffler and a magnaflow at the same time. Do it and see what it sounds like.

Im thinking the race muffler will drowned out the stock muffler all together should still be pretty loud even with the magnaflow on there. The reason i want to do this is to cut down on the raspy sound of a straight pipe make it sound a lil cleaner.
