So.. I went to the track last night and ran 15.3 not bad.. but not what I was hoping for either.
What really get's me is there was a 1999' Black Z71 Stepside exactly like mine except he did not have headers or a TC and he was running 15.2's
Are headers and torque converters really that worthless? I MUST be doing something horribly wrong...

I tried launching in 2wd, but with the stall it just smokes the one wheel off the line.. maybe it's time for that Auburn PRO....

I ran a 15 flat back in November or December, and I definitely attribute it to the cooler weather. Now that there's a little humidity back in the air, the truck has slowed back down to the 15.2-15.4 range.

I'm going to Gainesville tomorrow night to see if the cam picked anything up. My luck, it'll slow down!
