Default Different Stock Y-Pipes

Will a 2wd silvy y fit my 4wd Tahoe? I tend to think they are the same but a friend of mine disagrees. I just don't want to buy one and have it shipped just to have it not work for my application.

I don't know your answer, but if it was me, I would talk to my parts guys at the dealer and find out if there is a difference.

I can do a Vin for Vin part number comparison, but anything from model years/O2 location/wheel base/heat shield location/trans model to catback diameter may cause them to be different part numbers even if they would swap. Usually 2wd to 4wd will be the same but across two different body designs I expect them be different #s.

Shoot me a pm with vin or any info you have about the two trucks if you'd like me to compare pt#s in the morning.

I really appreciate that but its pretty clear that a 2wd silvy and a 4wd Tahoe have different y pipes.
